Repairs and Maintenance
Valve, trap, and connection component replacement
Worn small components are often the cause of dripping, unpleasant odors, or the inability to properly shut off part of the installation.
Valves and traps are regularly used parts of the system and can lose reliability over time. Replacing them is a relatively small intervention that can prevent a larger problem.
When is replacement needed?
- the valve no longer shuts off the water
- the trap leaks at the joints
- significant corrosion
- unpleasant odor from a drain connection
- the existing component does not fit the new fixture
Correct sizing
The new component should match the existing installation and equipment so the joints remain stable and accessible for future maintenance.
