Faucet and mixer repair
Dripping, difficult closing, or leaking around a mixer can often be resolved by replacing the correct component without replacing the entire faucet.
The cause may be a ceramic cartridge, seal, connection, aerator, or another component. The first step is identifying exactly what is leaking or not working correctly.
Most common faults
- faucet drips when closed
- leaking around the handle or mixer body
- weak or uneven water flow
- difficulty opening or closing
- leaks at supply connections
Repair or replacement?
If the faucet is good quality and the rest of the mechanism is in good condition, repair often makes sense. For heavily corroded or worn faucets, replacement may be the better long-term solution.
