Repairs and Maintenance
Leak source detection and repair
When dampness, water marks, or increased consumption appear, the goal is to locate the source before unnecessarily repairing finished surfaces.
Water often becomes visible away from the point where the plumbing is actually leaking. A visible stain or damp surface is therefore not always enough to determine the exact location of the fault.
Signs of a hidden leak
- damp or dark areas on a wall
- peeling paint or finishes
- unexpectedly high water consumption
- musty or damp odor
- repeated wetting of the same area
Repairs should address the real cause
Opening a wall or floor makes sense only when there is a reasonable assessment of where the fault is located. The goal is to reach the problem with as little unnecessary damage to the space as possible.
