Plumbing emergency repair

For major failures, the first goal is to stop uncontrolled water flow, then identify the cause and safely restore the plumbing system to operation.

A plumbing emergency can involve more than one damaged joint or pipe. These situations require a systematic assessment to determine what caused the failure and what resulted from it.

What can the intervention include?

  • stopping the uncontrolled water supply
  • inspecting critical parts of the installation
  • replacing damaged pipes, joints, or valves
  • repairing the access area
  • checking the system before restoring the water supply

Temporary or permanent solution?

When conditions do not allow a complete repair in one step, the system is first made safe. A permanent solution should be planned according to the actual condition of the installation, not only according to where the water became visible.
