Water leak detection and repair
When water leaks from a pipe, faucet, valve, or connection, it is important to identify the actual cause instead of only stopping the visible symptom temporarily.
A water leak may be obvious, but it can also appear only as dampness, a mark on a wall, dripping, or unexpectedly high water consumption. Proper repair begins with locating the source of the problem.
Most common causes of leaks
- worn joints and seals
- damaged or corroded pipes
- faulty valves
- leaks at traps and connections
- poorly fitted or loose joints
Why should repairs not be delayed?
Even a small leak that continues over time can cause dampness, damage finished surfaces, and waste water. Once the cause is identified, repairing it is usually simpler than dealing with the resulting damage.
After the repair
After the repair, we inspect the repaired section and surrounding joints to make sure there are no additional leaks.
